As a Senior Project Engineer at UL, she conducted numerous lighting product investigations; including generating technical reports and test datasheets as well as achieving a level 3 reviewer status in most lighting categories. Carrboro, NC, 2006-Present Professional Affiliations North Carolina Board of Engineers and Land Surveyors Licensed Professional Engineer – Area of Competency: Electrical Engineering Illuminating Engineering Society of North America (IESNA) Professional Member Tanya currently is serving as Secretary for the East Carolina Section Responsibilites As an Associate Designer at Colorlume Inc., Tanya provides design & production support as well as technical review on selected projects in addition to any required coordination efforts with design team members. Her design responsibilities include lighting conceptualization, calculations, luminaire/lamp selection, specification writing, layout documentation, and site review & final aiming. Other Tanya is the Chairperson of the Education Committee for the East Carolina Section of the IESNA where she is responsible for the overall coordination of various seminars and lectures, including ED-100 and ED-150 classes, for the membership and design community at large.
